Also see complete packet on microfilm for Sarah Ann Ray MCR399 at Comments in ( ) are by H.Austin. Note that all the children and grandchildren of Sarah Ann Kennedy Ray had applications that were rejected due to the fact that only Sarah Annie had 1/4 Choctaw Blood and she could not prove that her ancestors were living in MS during the time of the Dancing Rabbit Treaty. Also many family members did not remain as residents in the Choctaw Nation but lived in MO or TX and not in the official legislation of the Choctaw, prior to the application.

DAWES CARD MCR609 John Grant Austin was of the Eastern Choctaw Nation in Mississippi and his application was rejected by the Dawes Commission.
