About Our Database

 
 
The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding (TNG) is the software we use for our database. It is very intuitive, but we have some extra Search Tips available. Each of our 68 progenitors occupies a separate tree in TNG, but you may search the entire database at one time.
 
If you registered on the old site, your login and password have not changed. Just click the link below to log in. If you had established bookmarks, they won't work on the new site; however, you will be able to re-establish them on the new site.
 
If you have not previously registered, you will need to register in order to use our databases. We do this to protect our data from malicious bots that roam the internet. To register:
  1. Click the link below to access the database login page.
  2. Click the the "Register for New User Account" link.
  3. The Webmaster will activate your account, usually within 24 hours. You will receive an email when your account is activated.
  4. You will then be able to access our database.
 
We do not charge any fees for the use of our database or require that you join AFAOA. If you are interested in supporting our work, please visit our Membership page.
